Garmin: the undisputed leaders in the GPS market! Garmin introduced itself in the GPS market in the year 1989. Garmin International Inc is one of the members of this company. The company leads the market in manufacturing, designing and marketing navigation equipments. These equipments are used by both the aviation industry and the common man.
The company only had a few engineers when it started. However Garmin gained popularity only after its handsets were used by the US army in the Gulf war in the year 1992. The company never looked back ever since. Garmin is known for its innovative and unique products. Its products have simplified a number of things for the common man. Its handsets are used in diverse fields like marine, wireless, aviation and marine. They are also used in general recreation. Its products are extremely easy to use and that has been one of the prime reasons for the success of Garmin. Its systems have easy to use features like logical menus. Garmin also launched the world's smallest GPS especially for people who are outdoor freaks.
